Replica Toy Fish Co. NEW SPECIES (Update 9/3/15)

Hello everyone, I emailed the owner of RTF requesting if he was going to release anything for 2015. This is the response I got.

"I would like to have more in 2015.  maybe.

I have some unreleased species at the shop that I could put up on the web. probably in the next few weeks.  limited in quantity."

The owner has a few other sets or species that he has not released. Likely as prototypes or samples that he has in limited quantity. He plans to put them on the web soon. I'm stoked to see what he has in store for us.

Edit: He has these available. He has a few more, he is going to check for me.

In the 3" size:
Longnose Gar
White Bass
Lake Sturgeon

i jsut saw the three trout on his site as well, and am trying to find out more.

What I can't determin eis why the 3" tour are $3 instead of the usual $1.60US

Hello once more, I apologize for a delay in the release of information. A sudden burst in school work has caught me off guard, but I have found time to report the news I have acquired.

A Kern River Golden trout and Colorado River Cutthroat Trout are the latest of the trout figures. These are currently available.

Simeon says he will release a second variation of the Steelhead and Coho salmon this week as well a third variation of the Brook Trout.

When I was snooping on RTF's Facebook, I discovered a picture with two gars (not the ones currently being sold) and they have been identified as short nosed gar. The picture was from 2012, yet I still had the temerity to ask. Unfortunately, they are destroyed, so Simeon no longer has them.

Simeon is in the process of getting more of the fish out of China. Pleased to see his company coming along.

When given the opportunity, I will have the RTF section of Toy Animal Wiki updated with the new figures. Thanks again!

There is also a Rainbow trout and Greenback Cuthroat. Unfortunately, I can't them as wholesale figure, which is sad--but I will be getting some for myself anyway!

And he told me yesterday, there are a few others coming out this week!

Tell me about it--it's too bad that has China source has been less than terrific. I remember when he had put up photos of the dozens of new fish he was hoping to release as a second wave; I was especially eager to see the gar set (a whole tackle box!) and 6" paddlefish and bowfin. But various reasons kept that from happening. Still hopeful that those will eventually come down the pike.

Years back, we spoke about the line when it was new. Apparently, the big issue was wuality control--paint consistency, detailing, etc. The factory wasn't working well with him. So now he's slowly getting what he can, I guess.
