Comparison between Schleich old rhino 14394 and the new one 14743

I am wondering what is the differences between the former Rhino and the new 2015--is it just the color and more wrinkles? Does anyone have one to compare to the former one? I am debating getting it but if there is not much of a difference I may not. I already have the old rhino male.

I've seen them both and they're the same modl, the only difference is that the new one has a brighter horn and brighter than the whole body.

Horn and toes are brighter indeed, nothing special IMO.
Keep the old one, it has more charm and you can but white paint/pastel to brighten up yours if you want that You will save money that way...

Thanks Franz, as a collector of species, these differences don't mean anything to me, maybe it was not needed a new product number, they could keep the old number and just reintroduce the figure in their range as Safari did with the aardvark. To collectors of the brand it surely has some interest like it happened with the old hyenas.

I like the old one better. Really, when you look at pictures, a rhinos horn is almost the same color as the rest of its body.

I still don´t understand this idea... more money from old molds with new color It´s like their "EXCLUSIVES". They have a lot of retired models on stock, they put a new "exclusive" flag on them and what?? I don´t need buy the same gracing zebra because I have the regular one This is just no fair game with collectors...
