I am no expert in this, but the Monterey Bay series was one of the series in which Schleich was involved (some models were produced as Schleich one time and as Safari the other, such as the Authentics).

On Tiewe.de is some information about the Schleich version (here). I can't tell you more about the Safari version!

EDIT And the Schleich versions are here on Torben's site as well!

And - how could I forget ?

Just to specify : The models were not produced as Schleich, they were just sold by Schleich.
They are exactly the same, marked Safari, and were made in the same production runs.
The only difference was, that on the tag, Safari's logo was replaced with Schleich's logo Very Happy

Yesterday I got a parcel, which warmed my heart very much sunny

Sometimes, when Roger and I have traded models, I have included a small thing for his charming niece, Nicole. Nothing special, just for fun Wink

And now those two wonderful people have been out shopping together, and found two delightful sets of dinosaurs for me cheers

Nicole made a beautyful drawing of a siamese cat, and even wrote a greeting in English cheers

One of the dinos is a very model, - a Saurornithoides Very Happy

It is so rare that Roger had to make a new species-page for him on TAI Shocked

A very fast and skilled hunter, he is proudly showing his prey :

His feet look almost like those of a velociraptor :

For companion he has a little, equally vicious dimetrodon Very Happy

In the other set , an adult dimetrodon shows his impressive teeth affraid

His little friend may be a Saurornithoides too, - I think they have swapped offspring Laughing

A bit late, but let me show you some Kaiyodos that Brett got for me . He even was so kind as to assemble them for me ! Thankyou very much Brett cheers

I was especially interested in the Serow and the Ptarmigans, but it turns out that they are all great, little models Very Happy

The Ladybug is BEAUTYFUL and is now standing with some of my most beloved insect-models :
-rhinoceros beetle from Kitan Club
- Wasp from Bullyland and a ....bug ? from Kaiyodo :
