Yesterday afternoon I came back from a funeral and was completely down, - but then a parcel from Portugal was waiting for me in the mailbox

Very rare and very beautyful models from Miniland, Albert Heijn and Parragon

The loveliest little Albert Heijn Emu, and an extremely rare moose, which was sold together with a Spanish book about animals

The miniland Eagle, - an Iberian imperial eagle !!!!!!!
I have wished this model for years, but it was impossible to find, - but not much is impossible for dear Croger

Susanne, I am glad you like them. Fortunately these Minland were restocked and I could find one of these eagles for you. I love it too. An Iberian imperial eagle is what we wish it to be but, much probably, it is a Spanish golden eagle. Whatever it is, it's wonderful!
It is strange the decision of a draft horse for a Spanish company, mainly when those are the only horses in their range.
They have the hispano-Breton horse that is the result of crossing Iberian horses with Breton horses, so they result somewhat lighter and less feathered. Actually, less feathered than the Miniland, though, as long as it doesn't have a breed assigned. We can choose whatever we want!

Congratulation Susanne I'm sure you love all of them but the golden eagle is really the cherry on the cake

And last week I was careless enough to take another look at Sandspielfiguren
Gosh ! I discovered that she had the Bullyland Alligator from 1991

I have been looking for this little guy for years

But getting just one model from Germany is silly, don't you agree ?  
I had just seen Sayab models on Ebay for 12 Euros each,  and here the price is 3,80 for the large one, and two birds for 5 , - so ...

The duck and the pelican are ...so-so.
But I was pleasantly surprised by the two nesting ones , the flamino and the mute swan

But I was surprised when entering the stork in TAI, because there was no stork on the list.
Then I checked Torben's wonderful site Schleichtiersammler and was surprised to see the stork being called Siberian Crane  
Does anybody know if there is a Nayab catalogue where this is taken from ? Torben never makes mistakes

Congratulations Susanne on finally finding your Alligator, and then him being so friendly as to bring his friends along as well! But how could he not be friendly with such a big smile on his face!

Do you know if these butterflies are made based in real species? Are they identified in catalogues? They're beautiful!

That alligator is magnificent. Congrats, or tillykke, or however it's said, on your additions as a whole.

Torben probably never makes mistakes but Nayab did... In the Nayab catalog are some animals and birds poorly determined, e.g. cheetah as leopard, bison as yak, stork as siberian crane... And I think Torben used for TAI these names from catalog.
