The STS 2014 Dog Animal Figure Final Poll: Papo Siberian Husky

Here are the finalists for the STS 2014 Dog Figure of the Year!
This poll will run for 7 days with one vote per member allowed.
On Friday, January 30th we will know the results.
The winning figure will participate in the overall 2014 Toy Animal Figure of the Year poll, along with the other category winners.

Last year was the Kitan Club Shiba, who's next?

Not a single one of this year's contenders can hold a candle to the beauty of last year's winner, the Kitan Club Shiba Inu.

I agree on the beauty that is Kitan Club Shiba Inu.

But I like to make my decisions for best year contenders on the following:
How nice is this animal? And how accesssible is it?
I didn't vote for last years Kitan Club Shiba, because it was not really accessible.
Was it the best dog figure out there?
Sure.
Would it be easy for me to purchase one and have one for my collection?
Absolutely not.

So I vote Mojo Retriever Puppy, because I can actually buy that figure if I wanted to.

Even if they might not be as good as the shiba, they're all still fantastic models

This is such a lovely figure. I like it more than the Adult Retriever even -- they are both fantastic.

It's true. A lot of great dogs this year.

Oddly, though, I was ever so slightly disappointed with the Papo Husky when I finally saw it in person (that is, bought it). But I think it was the paintwork that let me down slightly. It felt a bit washed out. The sculpt is great.

So many great dogs, and so hard to choose. I picked the CollectA ACD because they did a great job with it over all, especially the head. But still, most of these are fantastic figures!

Right. So i vote for none.

The only good dogs except the Shiba are from Schleich, the others are too big.

Interesting performance from Kitan Club, a relatively unknown company and a poor performance from Safari and Bullyland, two traditional major brands.

My vote went to the Weimaraner! I know some people pointed some minuses in this sculpt but as I am no dog expert I used other considerations to make my choice.
First, it is by far the most challenging figure in that poll, we all know that figures with delicate legs are a big headache in terms of production. I think Papo made it enough elegant.
Being it a German breed, I believe it is quite less popular than other breeds here represented, otherwise I don't understand why no other known brands, mainly German companies, never released this breed. A honourable 2nd place and a big result to Papo dogs collection.
