Yes LeeAnn, the small bay is a Chinese copy of the John Henry mold. They sometimes wind up in flea markets as they were sold as cheap farm animals. There is a War Admiral copy at my brother's. He found it at a flea market also.

I'm still debating for the Schleich one. I guess he'll have his own thread in the custom section, where I'll post sketches of the 2 ideas have for him.

Some more additions, probably the last ones before Christmas. It seems that I have a bovine addiction lol.

My new additions from the week end. We are at the peak of flea market/car boot sale season here so it's very easy to find good bargains on figures now :

The trotting horse is a Safari Chincoteague pony. Its pinto markings look a bit like those of the famous Misty from the Marguerite Henry books.

My Wilga will be painted as a grulla tobiano. However I don't know when I'll be able to paint her as I have lots of projects waiting to be finished before.

I'm also amazed to hear about your plans for her colour! Grulla tobiano, that's something I really want to see on that mould, yay!!!

I have heard of her, but never got the chance to read her books.
I thought Breyer made some models of Misty as well if I can remember that right.

And yes, the horse DOES remind me of Misty, now that you mention it. The Breyer model was one of my childhood toys (and I had most of Ms. Henry's books, including the Chincoteague ones), and the markings are similar. My mom still has that model.

These are wonderful new additions! I love both the old Schleich Friesian and Wilga. I'm sure she'll look even better painted.

As for the fishes and other marine critters, some come from a Safari toob (the sea lion whose paint is damaged and the dolphin). I have no idea about the brand of the others though.
