1st topic for gibbons because 2015 is the year of gibbons!
Sóstó Zoo keeps 3 kind of gibbons. Gibbons are very nice and kind animals. They singing wonderful songs and sometimes they doing very funny things.
We have an old Siamang lady who is record-holder. The oldest siamang in Europe.
Finita is not only a siamang. She is very special. She is liveing with an orangutan family from long time ago.
She is best friend of an orangutan girl and babysitter of a baby orangutan. She is a family member.
She arrived to the zoo in 2010 with the orangutan family. She lived in Arnhem in the Burgers' Zoo before Sóstó.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The second is Tódor, a White-cheeked gibbon boy. Tódor lived long time alone in a bad place before he came to Sóstó. Unfortunately, because his bad past, he can't accept other gibbons. He killed his wives. Now, we have to keep him alone.

The 3rd is a family of White-handed gibbons. The parents, Muki(the super photo model of the zoo) and his wife, Marita from Sweden. They have two children. Ádám the older and he has a little sister.
