I was hunting down animal figurines on a Dutch market site (Marktplaats) when I came across this Italian brand: Cubolotti (series: Tribù). They remind me of a mix of the old Littlest Petshop figurines and the fluffy In My Pocket series. Check out the ad here. The seller says she bought them on holiday in Italy and she suspects you can buy the brand only there.
Does someone here know this brand? They look cute, I really have to check out which other species they sell.

I just found this video on YouTube. Looks like they have a 'Wild' series as well!
Yet some of the figurines really remind me of Schleich-S. Compare these:

Funny that the legs of the Lippi foal are switched.
Well that's my mistake; I mirrored the picture of the Schleich's lipizzaner foal so it would look the same way as the tiny one. I didn't think about it's leg xD Foolish me xD

Yes, me too. I can't even find a site from this series. It might be a project from a bigger Italian brand. For instance, the In My Pocket series is a project from Hasbro. Maybe if we new the bigger Italian brand, we could find more information about them!

Julie, it is so great and refreshing to have you also helping our community to find more information about toy animal figures! It seems this is from a company like Panini what is a fever in Italy and these collections look quite children oriented. The company is called EDIBAS Collections SRL and the website is: www.edibas.com
Cubolotti is the figure concept and among their collections you can find Cubolotti Wild, more information here! (pdf)

I was researching for Cubolotti, when I found some other series.
And I found this video, in which another Cubolotti series can be seen, Crystal Families. There are even two red fox families! The video is from December 2013, here are the foxes:
Here's Edibas' original advertising video for the Crystal Families:
And here's the Edibas' video for the Love Puppies series (which aren't puppies only xD I think I spotted a Siamese cat as well )

Julie, nice to see more foxes to collect. Siamese cats to Susanne, hamsters, etc. I have no idea if this is a polar wolf or an Arctic fox, cute renditions are often hard to identify. Though, my translator says that the collector above mentioned identifies the chimp as a macaque, the sea lion as a common seal and the penguin as a king penguin. I don't know where this info is based. Until better reference, the polar wolf is an Arctic fox for me.

I hoped to spot a border collie for Karin between the puppies, but couldn't find one xD And a fjord for LeeAnn would have been nice as well
So probably this collector has been determining the animals wronlgy (or our translator did it wrong xD). But if I look at its anatomy, it looks way more like a fox than a wolf to me. So an Arctic fox it is, then Now we have to find a way to get it..

I found a Russian toy collector's site with lots of information about Cubolotti! I went to the Edibas' site to check out any information about Cubolotti, but the site doesn't exist anymore. That most likely means that Cubolotti doesn't exist anymore as well.
Cubolotti Cubolotti is part of the Italian brand Edibas, which produces many collectible series (cards, figurines, etc.). All Cubolotti figurines are small animal figurines, coated with a velvety layer. They come in plastic boxes and sometimes with accessories. All Cubolotti figurines are aroun 2 cm tall.
Cubolotti Cutie Cubes (2008) The first Cubolotti series, Cutie Cubes, consists of several dog species. Every dog figurine comes with its own house and some accessories.
Cubolotti Love Puppies (2009) The Love Puppies series consists of 12 different dog breeds. All breeds have their own adult and pup.
Cubolotti Love Puppies 3D (2009) This series consists of 8 puppies, 8 kittens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits, 1 hamster, 1 squirrel, 1 ferret, 1 chinchilla and 1 hedgehog. Every figurine comes with food accessories.
Cubolotti Crystal Family (2010) This series is divided in two subseries: Forest Animals and Farm Animals. Every family comes with a semi-transparant box. Every box consists of 1 adult and 1 baby animal. The Forest Animals are 2 families of red foxes, 2 families of squirrels and 2 families of bears. The Farm Animas are 2 families of rabbits, 2 families of geese and 2 families of pigs.
Chicchi Tondi (2010) Consists of 18 different hamsters/guinea pigs. They all come with their own accessories and a corner of a room (made of plastic and cardboard. The corners can be joined together to make a house for the pets.
Cubolotti Love Wild (2012) This series is divided in three subseries: Jungle Animals, Forest Animals and Arctic Animals. The Jungle Animals are a zebra, ostrich, hippopotamus, chimpanzee and tiger. The Forest Animals are a horse foal, fawn, wild boar piglet, giant panda and squirrel. The Arctic Animals are a Arctic fox (or wolf), polar bear, Emperor penguin and sea lion.

I just found out I actually have two Cubolotti figurines I got them back in November last year, when I was visitting Karin. We went to the city and there was a vending machine in a toy store with the Cubolotti Love Puppies 3D (2009) series in it. We both tried two times. I had two dogs, and if I remember correctly, Karin had one dog and one cat. Here are mine:
Love Puppies 3D #2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 'Lily'
As you can see, they came with a tiny pillow. They also came with a tiny leaflet of stickers, which are supposed to be their accessories, I guess. Only thing is that they aren't called Cubolotti. The only thing I can find is the distributor, which in this sake is Belgian: Gamaco.
Karin weet je nog dat die stomme eieren niet open gingen en dat we Tijn dat hebben laten doen xD
