The colouration is my favourite aspect of this model, although I think the entire work is wonderful!!

It's just as if there's standing a real - yet very tiny muntjac right there. I have no words for this. Well done, and thank you so much for sharing!!

This muntjac is so beautiful and realistic that I need to come back and look at it more often. I adore this sculpture And the paintwork is perfect too!

I think the opposite I find the body language of hoofed animals, especially equines but also other, very expressive. They have developed body language, sometimes very subtle, sometimes very expressive also because for pray animals making any noise can be very dangerous. So they say almost all what they need using body posture and movement

But I agree that it is often very difficult to capture it on sculpture, more strange poses are more challenging when it comes to anatomy correctness and proportions.

The muntjac here has very subtle but lovely body expression indeed. This pose emphasises shyness of this animal.
