Whooper Swan from EIKOH!

In my collection there are lots of mute swans, and a few black swans - but HURRAAAAY ! Thanks to Brett, now I have my first  whooper swan too    

Again, - EIKOH's models are not fabulous like for instance Kitan Club , but they are beautyfully sculptured, small models, and most of them have this special "something"

This morning the sun sent light sidewards in, but without the rays actually reaching the place where I had put the swan, and I could see that it made the structure of the feathers show quite nicely  
Of course my immediate reaction was : I must show this to the friends in STS

Oh what a beauty <3 Maybe they aren't as good as the Kitan Club figures, but they are absolutely charming. Again, congratulations with this beautiful model I checked the list of Eikoh figurines on TAi and there sure are some I really need to have in my collection! Just look at that fennec fox.. *Drools away *

It is great that you share with us. Eikoh are for sure not as good as some of other Japanese brands but their figures are very attractive. They have a kind of European market design although they're not sold in Europe.
Of course I like the figure, mainly the fact that it is a whooper swan and not a mute swan again.  Did you know that the heaviest whooper swan ever weighed was found in Denmark?
Individuals can be distinguished by their black markings on bill, though, after watching some pictures, it seems they use to have the tip of the bill black?

Exactly !!!
Their size is also great, - and I like that they are not as fragile as some of the other Eastern brands

I like so much Eikoh models...all of them.
And this swan it`s no exception too.

I agree with Rogério, the weakest part of this model is the bill. Mine have the same problem.
