Liiolii's outdoor pics (updated 5th January 2021)

I took several figurine photos today, but only this one with a Schleich fox was sharp. But I think it's really nice, though.

This time only one photo, it from my balcony. Flying objects are difficult to catch - this seagull was really a tricky one.

I upload some old photos here. This polar bear pic is from 2009 and it's one of my favourites ever. I have taken animal figurine photos almost ten years now. It's sad that I stopped collecting and sold almost all my figurines.

And finally a photo of myself from 2009! (Don't remember if I have uploaded it here earlier?) This is taken by my sister. Can you see how concentrated I am? Nowadays I have a system camera, the pocket one is rarely in use.

Our collecting hobby depends of several external facts. The way our life and our interests take is determining to it. I have often to reduce my collection and it is not rare that I regret something. But, this is how hobby works and most could be recovered if needed. If you feel nostalgic about your old pieces, it is quite challenging that you try to get back those you like best. Schleich retired figures are not so hard to find these days and they are often unexpensive.
It is nice to see your pictures of more than 8 years ago as well it is nice to see you. You look so concentrated that you are not noticing what is happening on background.

This is not a animal replica photo but I want to share it with you, because this "icicle tree" is so beautiful. I spotted two on the seashore. We don't have any snow here in Helsinki. Nice sunny day after a long dark and cloudy period.

Looks real inded with some Permian megavegetation! Wonderful picture of that tree. Nature is always presenting us with beatuiful things and I am glad you are one of these persons that notice them.

Hello folks! After a long break I'm here again. Yes, I'm still collecting, but my fresh interest is creating my own fantasy world with (mainly) Papo figurines. I take outdoor photos with fantasy figurines, draw maps, write some (bad!) stories etc. Like mixed Narnia & Middle-Earth inside my head. Clichéd, I know, but I like it.

I have lost many of my old photos uploaded on Flickr. Here you can see some new pics. Cloudy day is always the best time to take figurine photos outdoors, in my opinion. Light is not too sharp then.
