Takara 2015 new animals

I found some new models which will be released this year, 2015, from Takara Tomy.
Even though they are jointed there are some interesting figures, click the link to see more.

This African elephant calf is much better than the new 2015 Papo elephant.

They are beautyful , - the smilodon, the mammuths , - and great pose for the elephant !!!

I love the croc too. And the Neanderthaler, and the wale, - I love them all

The figures are not very big (bigger than kaiyodo), you can judge from this picture.  The models are not to scale with each other, all around the same size.

Those orcas!!! I want them!!!! Oh and the tiger, and the red panda.....!!!!!
And after clicking the link, I want more! The lions, the seals, the sea lions, the dolphin.....
How can I get them????

You're right about the elephant. That's an almost new interpretation for a smilodon, I like it although I have mixed feelings about it.
The alligator is very nice too as are many other figures.

Same with me. Why can't I find them on Takara's homepage?

A lot of these models have not been released yet, for example the smilodon will be available August 6, 2015.  
I was using amazon Japan as many of these models are not listed on the Takara official site.

Eventually I suspect they will all be readily available on eBay as are the older figures from this series.

I love the fact that the Smilodon has the option of having its mouth closed, as no other figures of this animal comes that way.

I really like the Smilodon! I'd like to see a more detailed repaint.

Somehow I missed this topic until now. wow, these are very interesting! I like the rhino and mammoth calf and the whale shark looks very nice too. I think the idea is quite cool

Yes, how did miss this first time round. I somehow, whilst searching for Tomica Zoo sets, stumbled on this range from Tomy.

Need to obtain the crocodile and giraffe as their moving parts mirror those on the respective Britains crocodile and giraffe issues from the mid 1970’s. So these two would be most welcome additions to my collection.

I agree, good choice. I think the Smilodon is well done overall.

I love the marine animals from this company, especially the orcas. They have been painted and sculpted so incredibly well!
I have ordered the orca mother/calf pair (love it they come as a complete set). It's a bit of a shame they are so relatively small, but at least they're larger than Kaiyodo (which is super detailed and well-sculpted despite the tiny size).
I plan to post a review and walk-around of the orcas once they arrive.
