| I don't usually pay attention to these stories in the news, but I just discovered this one which forum members might find interesting: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I guess the real reason I'm sharing this is because I have seen (and admittedly fed) the bear in the past. The enclosure made me feel uncomfortable about seeing it, but it is good that it seems the owner made the right decision to have the bear moved to a better facility. Luckily, I don't remember any of the other animals in the attraction being in similar conditions (They were petting zoo animals in a pretty big space). |

| Ohhh, this is horrible ! Poor Ricki  Will such an old bear even be able to be happy in such an open space ? Aren't black bears forest dwellers ?  |
