One I haven't posted before: the Repenomamus by Jetoar from the Dinosaur Toy Forum. Possibly the largest mammal known from the Cretaceous, and on the therian stem (closer to marsupials and placentals than to monotremes). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| cave bears [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ursus spelaeus (cave bear) from Geoworld .. same standing pose than the Bullyland's one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .. but rather at the scale of the one of Papo (on left) and the one of Schleich (on right).. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].. not very accurate: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].. stop not enough marked, muzzle too long and as could say Rogério, a little too steroïsed! (Too much teeth, too long claws, unrealistic caricatural fighting pose..) .. but with some taxons, I am a rather compulsiv collector so: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].. I just miss the very strange Playvision's one. :)

I wish for a decent cave bear. I guess the Papo one is fine, but I feel this species needs a serious update.

The Papo one is accurate though all its specific characters beeing a little too marked and I am very glad we have it now after a so long wait.. Are you aware of the recent discovery, 2 months ago, of a frozen cave bear in Yakoutia with its fur, muzzle, nose, visceras..? I suppose our knowledge of this species, its genetic links with other bears and its real looking is going to improve a lot soon! :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Perhaps the most obscure prehistoric mammal to ever have a toy made of it is Koreasaltipes, which is known only from trackways that show it to be a hopper. It's from the Cretaceous of Korea and was made by Sonokong for its Dino Mecard line: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Glyptodonts from left: Schleich, Invicta, Starlux, Henkel The Henkel's one, though marqued "gylptodon" is more surely a deodicurus. We can observe the typical pentagonal "scailes" on these 3 ones: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
