VEB Plaho Foxes came in last week...

Well, i had most of these foxes already, but i had a brandnew set coming in, which brought me two new items for the collection, or in a better shape.

So this is the complete red fox family in orange(strange, haha, i know).

And this is the family in brown, with an extra lighter brown version of the cub left in the back.
For the crouching one on the front right, i still need a better one.

Those foxes are really nicely schulptured, some of the best foxes I know, - but now both Schleich and Bully are comming with new ones.
I love foxes, I wouldn`t mind having a real, tame one, - but I am not sure my other critters agree

Oh Willy! I love foxes! Is one of the few animals that I'm only buying anytime there's a new! But I don't have a orange fox!!! Is this a Dutch fox???:)

Well Rogerio, they could have been Dutch foxes with this colouration, isn't it, haha...
It is a wonder to me, that they don't have little Dutch flags on their cheeks, haha.
But no, the VEB Plaho was in the former DDR(or GDR if you want), and they were regularly out of material or resources(communistic country), so they used the stuff they had.
In a lot of cases, they didn't clean up the machines very well, which led to different colours of models, because there were rests of the former plastics in the machine.
But you saw before at the picture of Thomas, they come in brown(different types of brown), orange and white with light brown over it.
