New Eikos for September 2015 :-D

16 new models from Eikoh again  
A wonderful flock of common and unusual animals fom different parts of the world  :


The are ever so charming !!!
And of course they made friends with others on the shelves almost as soon as they were out of the box  

So, - let me present the new Eikos and their new fridns in Denmark

The moon bear is very impressed by his friend, - SO BIG !!!  


The serow is a rather nervous fellow, but he feels safe between these two :
(I just can't remember the brands, - can anybody help, please ? )


The crane forund two, large friends ! Kitan to the left, and Kaiyodo to the right :


The pheasant from Starlux is very happy, - at least he found a friend almost as small as himself


WHAT an impressive guy ! Mother wild pig and her son are wildly impressed  


The charming little famaly of Japanese macaques meet the Kitan friend    :


One of the most wonderful of them all : The flying squirrel !!!
My only other model of this kind ( Safari) is just too huge and scary, but the Schleich squirrel is a good friend


Now there are TWO cacoon dogs  


The little deer, which I think is a sika, has a protective attitude, and took the Kayodo  fawn under his wings anthers  


The Riomote Cat from Colorata is thrilled to get a friend :


Kitan-bear and EIKOH-bear, - surely they are related ?  


Mojo-stoat is and his winter-coated friend, the ermine  


My very first Amami rabbit    The Schleich hare is telling him some stories about Denmark  


Last, and not least ! The Starlux fox presents Red Fow, - great, isn't he , Roger ?

I must admit I already saw these pictures between the newly uploaded files on TAi today.. And I was really thrilled. And now, again, I'm really thrilled - this is such a wonderful brand! I really like all the unusual species, but they have something over them - they're just so cute <3

And I'm in love love love LOVE <333 with the raccoon dog!!!!

Congratulations, Susanne, I see this set for the very first time and thank you for sharing these pics.

I am sorry but I can not share euphoria as some other members do. I have mixed feelings everytime I see Eikohs. Eikoh is Japanese brand but I miss the Japanese perfectionism here. They produce monolithic figures (as e.g. Re-Ment does) but the paint is often too simple (compare the deer white points and hoofs on Eikoh and Kaiyodo figures, compare Eikoh and Colorata iriomote cats etc.). Eikoh animals are somewhere between Japanese and Western philosophy (small sized but not very carefully painted) and big part of these figures are too "inspired" by some branded figures (see e.g. the amami rabbit, brown bear or ermine). Not bad at all but far from ideal...

So many interesting figures in among these Eikoh and very well presented with all the friends. Hermine, raccoon dog and several others are also very tempting! I've heard you're sending gold to me, isn't it?

Wow, new Eikoh models...they look realy nice. I love them
So many and great animal models. They all have this special Eikoh charm which I like a lot.
Look at these Japanese macaques They are lovely.
But also the other models.... they look just great with your older models Susanne :)
And this fox is a real gold. It is very very nice model and also with this color look`s like a gold :)

I agree with Jarda, the Eikoh quality is really "different" from the other japanese companies, nevertheless their models have a "cute" charm and I understand everyone happiness .

I have a particular penchant for the macaques of course and since the Kaiyodo's one is really hard to find I would love to catch the Japanese green pheasant

Please can anybody do the size comparison between the Kaiyodo pheasant (P. versicolor) and the Eikoh one?

Eikoh is a Japanese brand, they have existed for over 40 years, but it was only last year that they started this line of nice little animal models, you can see them here : http://toyanimal.info//index.php?title=Eikoh
