New SCHLEICH Mai 2010

Hi Friends,

today i received most of the new figures from Mai 2010.













Only the Great Dane Puppy wasn´t available.

All the figures look very detailed. The humans are in the same scale to the other newer human figures. The dogs are quite filigree but not in the scale like the other dogs. They are much smaller. The new Great Dane is smaller than the Dalmatian 16346 from 2007. The Labradors are much smaller. In comparison to the new humans they look good.

Thanks for sharing! all the 2010 dogs had good details. when you mentioned dog size smaller than before. I am wondering how much smaller compared to before?

here you can see some of the new figures in direct comparison to older ones. How i have already written is the scale of the new dogs much smaller, but it looks good to the human figures. Make your own opinion:

At first i was disappointed as i saw the new dogs, but at the second look they scale much better to the human figures than the older ones.

That's quite a difference ! But the new ones do look better with the Schleich human figures. I like that old Great Dane

Thanks for the very informative photos and comparisons. It really gives me an idea whether to get these dogs or not? Mixed of emotions

I don't have any idea why Schleich made a smaller scale for their dogs this time. Unless they are all puppies or they wanted to correct their scales as compare to their wildlife species that's why their new dog's sizes are much smaller as compared to the old dog figures. Honestly, it's quite disappointment because I have been waiting for their arrivals since it was posted on their website four months ago.

Thanks for showing in comparison. It fits well with the human figures, the details is good and for sure I will get them all.

I agree with you Torben, the new ones look better with the human figures. The dogs before were too big, it's fine for children of course. I like the scale of the new dogs.

Fremd dass Schleich diese Hunden nicht im denselben Masstab gemacht hatt, wie die anderen Hunde in 1:12.
Aber wie du sagst, jetzt sind sie mehr in dem 1:20 Masstab, und passen deshalb besser zu den anderen Figuren.
Ich schätze dass ich sie bestelle in zwei Wochen oder so, zusammen mit den Pferden und die paar Wild-life Figueren die mir noch fehlen.

Strange that Schleich didn't made these models in the same scale, like the other dogs in 1:12.
But like you said, now they are more in the 1:20 scale, and fit better with the other models.
I guess that i wil order them in two weeks or so, together with the horses and the wild-life figurines that i was still missing.

Great additions Torben I'm quite happy because of the smaller size of new dogs. I did not collect old-big dogs before but I will buy new.

Great stuff, Torben, and I agree that the new dogs look much better in photo or person than in the promo stuff previously released.
