| While I was working my church's pumpkin fair, I found this pumpkin stem laying on the ground. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It just screamed at me "NESSIE!" So, though I don't have a clue about how to sculpt, I had to try. I took the box of Original Sculpey I got to make fish bases and have given it a go. Any helpful ideas out there? I really don't know what I'm doing here. Having a time trying to get it all smooth- do you wet your fingers, or bake it and sand, or? And any ideas on improving it before I bake it? Good thing I had a spare pair of glass eyes! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]What about the base? Leave it as it is, try to figure out how to do water? LOL @ my neighbor's visiting little dog photobombing. Not a fan of tiny dogs, but she's a sweetheart! Thanks for looking! |

| That's cool, Kelly. It's fabulous that you saw the potential. I like what you've done with it _________________ Laura

| Nothing like having a great imagination Nessie is beautyful, such a wonderful expression and fine shape of the head Kosta is right, some water for a base could be a good idea |

| That is an awesome piece, I can't give any tips however. Though I can't wait to see it done! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
