Re-ment Pose Skeleton series Empty
PostSubject: Re-ment Pose Skeleton series   Re-ment Pose Skeleton series EmptyThu 05 Nov 2015, 19:01

Re-ment is a Japanese company specializing in making miniature foods and other stuff.

Last year they introduced new series called Pose Skeleton. Initially they contained only a human skeleton and a dog skeleton (plus some funny accessories for the former):

And they are tiny!

I've got the skeleton, it poses fantastically for the size - it has ball joints except for elbows (hinges) and wrists (rotating movements only).
I've just ordered a dog as well Very Happy

This year they introduced two more human skeletons - a larger, male skeleton and a child skeleton (so that would make the first one a female):

Also, they expanded the series by dinosaurs:

I'd say spooky-cute Very Happy I love my little skeleton, I can't wait to get the dog!

And I hope they'll make some equine skeleton at some point! Very Happy But I'm really tempted by a T-rex and a moose for now!

There are also so-called Mini Skeletons, non-articulated, reptiles and amphibians for now:

That's interesting, the study of skeletons is an important part of all animal related sciences. It is also incredible their size. Shocked
I don't know if they'll release horses, but invertebrates I am almost sure they won't. Wink
Thanks for sharing Magda! Very Happy

Funny skeletons! Very Happy Thanks for sharing Magda! I think they aren't perfectly proportional (bones are a bit too thick and not always in correct length to each other) but give the basic idea about how it looks like AND are very playable. Nice! Smile

Haha, yes, but they're cute! I'm going to get a cat for my small collection :) I'm still hoping for a skeletal horse (or another equid) in this series XD
However, I think it's a Munchkin (short-legged) cat skeleton, legs seem to be too short for a normally built cat.

Re-ment skeletons are usually not very accurate, they seem to fit the cute style of their animal figures. But I find them interesting anyway for a cat collector, the same way I think this figure is also unmissable for a cat's lover. cat
