2016 Oceanian Wildlife from all brands - Updated December 13

Here is a place to post and discuss all the 2016 Oceanian WildLife models from all brands. New official Pics will be added on the first post when available.

Those are also remastered!
It seems Safari has some more releases to join here according with some forum friends that already received the 2016 catalogue. Unfortunately we still don't know them yet although it is a question of time.

Yes, S&N plays always an important role in this topic and I hope this year is not an exception. I believe Jason is busy sculpting new figures to the company.

After 6 weeks in Australia, it's so much fun that now the greater companies release australian wildlife just the moment if returned
There is so much diversity in australian fauna beside the koalas and greater kangaroos that we all already have: possums, wombats, dingos, etc. also are interesting species. For me, the greater companies have now started a good job with common wombat (collecta), wallaby (safari: hmm which species?) and hopefully a southern nose wombat! :O
From S&N, I hope that they release mor of the birdfauna of this beautiful continent. Parrots, waterbirds and bush turkeys for example are very common :)

The cockatoo is awful.

Collecta have clearly taken the lead in terms of accuracy and overall quality of finish. I just wish they'd lighten up on the hair-by-hair look on some of their mammals - I know someone's trying to be very careful, but at the kind of distance these models represent, you don't see much in the way of individual hairs.

It's a good year for Australian fauna models collectors wonderful models!

Kangaroo is nice.

Even without S&N news, it is already THE year for Australian fauna collectors

I hoped CollectA would make the Hairy-nosed wombat but they chose the common wombat instead. I never thought I would ever see this more unusual species made as a model and so was surprised that Safari Did for two reasons:

1) We finally have a rare wombat species in figure form
2. That Safari actually made a rare and unusual species of wombat rather than the common one!

The wallaby looks great - at last we have one! (although secretly I would have loved to have seen the brightly coloured Yellow-footed-rock wallaby. I know S&N make one but it is too big in size to warrant any interest for my collection).

Eikoh is making a good contribution to this thread to compensate the lack of news from Science & Nature.
