African wild ass by Kikimalou

In 2012, before CollectA decided to produce one, I made an African wild ass’s custom.

It was my last custom attempt and I never finished to paint him.  Three years have passed and I rediscovered my brushes.

I remembered then my old African wild ass but I didn’t find enough courage to change something. I guess it will stay unfinished but it isn’t a good reason to avoid a walkaround so…

Which mold have you used?

That is a great customized figure, nice job.  I particularly like the face, the eyes are well done.

Was this the original zebra you used? If it is you did a lot of work to make it look good, the original zebra looks awful.

The AAA zebra I customized is this one. I only had to make small changes

I so admire the people who can see exactly what to change on a model
To me, it is only "something not quite right", but I can't see what

What is the material you use , please ?

I used green stuff and another air drying clay I can't remember.
