Does anyone else do this? I collect 2 of every animal in figurine form I am up to about 862 animals.

I know there are some who collect herds of models they like Very Happy

Also some buy one for showing and one to keep with tag and/or unopened box (MIB)

We did that for a while, then we decided the kids had to share so we could diversify more. So I think I only have maybe a couple dozen doubles maximum.

(It'd be cool to see your collection.)

Those are pretty cool :)
And I misread your question as saying two of each figure instead of two figures of each type. Amazing what difference seeing a word can make. Very Happy I have more that meet that requirement. I'm a few hundred pairs shy of having as many as you do though. :)
