Bullyland 64424 Caribou

That the caribou and the reindeer are the same species seems to be correct, although there are some differences.
The reindeer as we know it today, is for the biggest part domesticated, and this does a lot of things for a species.
But there are some very small wild populations left in Europe.
The caribou is bigger, with longer legs, and their horns are bigger developed most of the times.
A very rare subspecies, from the border of Finland and Russia is the one, with the most related genes to the caribou, although the Siberian reindeer is the nearest, and obviously the one, that migrated to the north of the Americas...

Can anyone post a picture of this Caribou next to a Schleich horse, or any model similar in size, let's say 10-11 cm tall? I'm tempted to buy this guy, which looks really great on all your photos, and I'd like to have a size reference

Here he is between the Schleich Haflinger 13280 ( I had him right here) and the Bullyland Reindeer

He is wonderful, isn`t he ?
I like the little reindeer also, but was surprised so light he is, not at all like the catalogue

No, It is smaller than the caribu in the catalogue, but it looks different, a lot darker ... does anybody have the little one in a darker version ?

Maybe it's just the matter of a photo?

Could you share some more pictures of the little Caribou? I really like him, he looks a bit like one of the Caribou's smaller subspecies.

I hopefully checked shipping costs on this site again - but no, no free shipping for Poland, of course... I mean, why, we are bordering countries.
I guess I'll have to save a lot of money to buy through this site.

Luckily, the Caribou is available in my country, so I can buy him without major difficulties

26 reindeers is enough! A herd in Cumbria with free postage!

It's a shame a Portuguese pay almost twice a German for the same figure when salaries are 5 or 6 times less! It don't wonder that German people have huge collections! Fault is not yours of course! Anyway I think that in Uganda is worst than in Portugal!
