ASHF – Action Stock Horse Foal
BEB - Big Easy Bash, Breyer event
BF – Breyerfest
CA – Classic Arabian
CAF – Classic Arabian Foal
CAM – Classic Arabian Mare
CAS –Classic Arabian Stallion
CC – Collector’s Club (can also mean credit card, so watch the context)
CGC – Custom Glazed China (can also mean Carolina Gold Classic, a large annual live show)
Chalky – Model with a painted white base coat
CM – Custom (or custom made)
COA – Certificate of Authenticity
CWP - Cantering Welsh Pony
DAH – Design a Horse
ERD – Equine Resin Directory (http://www.equineresindirectory.com/)
FAF – Family Arabian Foal
FAM – Family Arabian Mare
FAS – Family Arabian Stallion
FS – Fighting Stallion
G1, G2, G3, or G4 – these mean “Generation” (number). Breyer Stablemates are released in four generations, with the lowest number the oldest sculpt. Identify Your Breyer has a good reference of this.
Glossies – models with high gloss, or shiny finish
HH – Hands High
HOTY – Horse of the Year (line of Breyer Classic models)
HR – Hagen-Renaker
ISH – Ideal Stock Horse (A Peter Stone mold. Can also mean Irish Sport Horse, so watch the context.)
IDYB – Identify Your Breyer
JAH – Just About Horses (a Breyer magazine publication)
LB – Little Bit
LG – Lonesome Glory
LP – Lady Phase
LSE - Lone Star Experience, Breyer event
LSP – Live Show Proven or Placed*
LSQ – Live Show Quality*
MIB – Mint in Box
MAW – Make A Wish (aka the Oaisis mold)
MOW – Man O’ War
NAMHSA – National Model Horse Shows Association

Show String – All the horses you’re bringing to a live show
SHM – Stock Horse Mare
SHS – Stock Horse Stallion

T/U – Touch up, this term isn’t commonly used anymore
TB – Thoroughbred
TC, TR, or Test – a test model, usually “Test” is used and it’s very rare to see TC or TR. Test Run, a model made before production
“Trad” – Traditional
TH – Treasure Hunt
TWH – Tenessee Walking Horse
VC – Vintage Club
VRE - Velvert Rope Event, Breyer event
WB – Warmblood
WEG - World Equestrian Games
WG – Can mean Weathergirl or Woodgrain – review the context to be sure which one this refers to.
