New chimpanzee from Safari 2016 :-)

In between christmas cleaning, cooking, decorating, shopping and all the other wonderful, but time-consuming tasks as the 24th is approaching, I am happy to find time to show you this charming guy : The new chimp male from Safari      

The pose it a bit unusual. Seen from the left it looks like he is tip-toeing with his hind legs.
But all in all I was quite positively surprised when I sav him in real . The face is wonderful, and the feet are very nicely sculptured

The faces of the big apes vary very much, - probably the chimps think they vary as much as the faces of humans.

Very nice. Where did you get him already? He is a big male so must be the alpha Male. looks a little like a gorilla--very muscular and big.

No doubt, it's a nice figure. It's an imposing male chimp and he's charging and he means business.
Is he big?
I just find this figure a little too crude to my taste. Too toyish? Especially the face.

(My favourite is still the Schleich Chimp from 2013.)

Very cool model Susanne! and really nice walk around. I like the chimp and I'm always glad Safari releases some of its models in the previous december. (I just recently picked up the Plesiosuchus.)

I know we don't have to choose but I often do it. I like the figure but it is not impressing me enough and the chimp of my collection will keep being the 2013 chimp previously mentioned in Simmone's comment. He is really to bulky for my taste but a superchimp anyway.
It is very nice from you that you've found free time enough to provide us such a great walk around in such busy times for you.

Thank you for the walkaround Susanne and congratulation. I like very much this Machopanzee, no doubt an angry alpha and I'm sure a good repaint would bring the sculpt to life
