| Hello guys, it's me KD again! A few months back this year, I went on a family vacation to Lima Peru. As most of us know, the national animals over their are the llama, the alpaca, and the condor. When it comes to plastic animals, the aforementioned are very uncommon. If you look up "llama toy" on google images, you will come across many plush animal images, and not that many plastic ones. Same applies to the Alpaca. At this point, I wasn't even expecting any type of mini PVC style versions of these animals that would be like the Playspaces Tube animals. Then this one day during our vacation, I saw an animal toy stand in the neighborhood next to where we were staying(my grandpa's house) Then my heart skipped a beat when I saw a bag full of mini Peruvian Animal toys!!! Too bad I disposed of the package, but it was essentially the exact same one for this set of Jungle Animals. I couldn't even find these Peruvian animals by looking up "Wild Animal toys" on google, and it showed many other types of animal toys in the same packaging (You know. The kind that are inside a see through bag that are held on by a stapled card" Maybe these are exclusives? What do you think? The lack of distribution of this little set is so mind boggling to me, I feel it's rarity rivals that of a piece of gold!! And can someone tell me what the blue, rabbit like, rodent is? And the Birds? Maybe it's a Condor and Short Tailed Parrots! Seriously! I feel like I am the only person in the world to even own these!! They are even compatible to the said Playspaces tube animals, as shown in these pictures. Please let me know if you own them too. Am I just overreacting? Or is this actually the most rare, unknown set of miniature animal toys, as well as animal toys in general??? | Thank you for clarifying that Wilorvise. I didn't at all know the company who made this set, and I could not find any search results, so I assumed these were mega ultra rare, but it looks like anyone can buy this set! That doesn't stop them from being awesome though! Many uncommon species here, and I still want to figure out what the flightless bird and bird of prey is! |

| Phantastic and interesting additions. They are on my wishlist too :)
And i think your blue rodent is a chinchilla i think:)
I am not sure if they are rare but hard to find because what will you search by cheap chinese models. Chinese brands are not so named that you can find them easy on ebay. Always you find it as chinese figurines. That s the problem. |

| I did a deep search, and I believe that the flightless bird is a Rhea. Do you guys also know of some birds that resemble that flightless one? |

| Komodo, I edited again your posts and merged them all in a single post. I think it is better like that. These blister cards are very interesting once they feature unusual species and the thematic here presented is very appealing. The flightless bird is almost surely a rhea as you identified, maybe a closer picture can help and Andreas is right about the blue rodent, it is a viscacha, much probably a Northern viscacha although I believe they are not sculpted to represent a particular species. |

| Wow Roger. Thanks again! I'm not kidding when I say, that if you look up "Rhea toy" or "plastic rhea" on google, you will not find this bird of the set of animals I am showing here. Perhaps Hang Shun is the only company ever to make a Rhea?? Not even Schleich has gotten to it. And by the way, could the bird of prey be a condor? Or something else? Also, there are clearly some llamas, and two types of Alpaca, notably Alpaca Huacaya and Alpaca Suri. |

| Rheas are really rare in toy shape, if you check our Toy Animal Encyclopedia that our community is building, the only rhea listed there is the Starlux figure, it is fair to recall that Starlux was the Queen of diversity in vintage times. If you provide me a close up of the bird of prey, I can try to help you. | But I fixed it with the awesome technology of screenshots. Only problem is that screenshots shorten the picture due to displaying the pc screen, but it should do |

| I am affraid it won't be easy to identify that bird of prey, to me it is a kind of hawk with the triangular tail and rounded wings, though, I have no idea which species. I hope some other member can help you better. |

| I think it should be a condor. No a good looking figurine but i think it is the only answer if i see the rest of the set. |
