Very nice too

You sure take beautiful photos, and I appreciate your time and effort on this site recently.
It's nice to have good walkarounds of Dinosaurs on STS as well.
However, the amount of pictures you take is too overwhelming for me.
I really dread going into your walkaround threads lately...
I enjoy looking at the wonderful pictures of the figure itself and enjoy seeing some detailed pics of the tail, belly and feet.
But then there are like 25 headshots that look all the same and it makes my head explode.  

Please keep making walkarounds and entertain us with your beautiful photos.

I agree, I tend to get carried away with the animal's profile shots!  I like to get trigger happy with my camera!

We can see the big level of detail that Schleich put in their dinosaurs, despite the brand reputation among dino collectors not being the best!
I used our Wiki to see which is the older allosaurus uploaded there, it is always interesting because the perception of how a prehistoric animal changes a lot allong the years and then, there is also the artistic touch of the sculptors.
The oldest listed is the 1955 Marx, avery funny guy. I don't know if it was the first allosaurus toy but probably not.

That figurine sure brings back memories. I remember playing with one of those at a local sandlot back in the 70's. Not sure whatever became of it but he used to love terrorizing my brontosaurus!

I love these mmemories, have you ever considered to collect them? Surely they don't look like REBOR or Papo but they are pieces of history and have some symbolism for you.

Actually I have thought about collecting them. For reasons of nostalgia and mostly childhood memories like you mentioned. I see some for sale every so often too. Perhaps once I get caught up with my Rebor and Papo collections, I may consider the plunge. There were so many when we were younger. I recall that some were painted while others were solid colors or simply pure white.

I still wish I had them all.
