A wonderful bird, and a wonderful, beautyful model

In Danish they are called "Hærfugl", which means "Army-bird" , - I wonder why

I love all your birds.
But i think you mis one great on : a shoebill!
I you made one i have missed the pictures (and then i'm sorry)
And i laughed very hard at the drawing of you cuddling with that giant bird (Great picture)
Maybe you can also make a capercaillie?

I like very much this bowing Hoopoe, maybe it is not perfect but it has a lot of personality

Indeed after having sculpted it they have long remained at rest and I am left for the series 2 in painting ....  
In the inicial project I:lol:  had planned Colin chick; and here I am with a nest and three eggs, already a good start ..
