Field Museum of Natural History (Chicago, IL)

I just thought I would share some of my photographs from my trip last fall to this wonderful history museum.  It is also home to the famous "Sue the T-Rex!"  Enjoy!!!

Beautiful photos! Sue is awesome Sometime I'd like to visit Museum of Natural History in NY, but, well, I don't feel like traveling into New York.....

Thank you LeeAnn. The AMNH in New York is on my bucket list for this year.  That and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto Canada too!

Oh man, I love Sue! She has travelled, or at least "copies" of her, to a museum near me twice and she is truly a wonderful specimen. Great photos and it looks like you had fun, I've gotta visit sometime in my life to see her in person

This was a fun trip!  Me and my son made a day of it.  We got there at opening and stayed until mid afternoon.  From there, we traveled to Kenosha Wisconsin and visited the Dinosaur Discovery Museum.  That place was small but it had some cool theropod specimens on display.  I'll post those pictures later.

And you are welcome.  I didn't see any "Sue" models there.  But they had plenty of T-Shirts, mugs, glassware, etc. for purchase.  They also had plenty of Papos, Schleich, Safari, etc. dinosaur figurines.  However, they were marked up by double the standard price you can find online.   They were even selling the DVD documentary, "Last Day of the Dinosaurs."  Couldn't help but feel sorry for all of those animals after watching it.  (I seen it on YouTube a while ago.)

This also was same for their regular museum store which was located downstairs.
