Lagoon Deer Park (Sandusky, Ohio)

Here is a small petting zoo which is great fun for the family! Its been around for a while now and the animals there are super friendly! Good grief, I mean FRIENDLY!!! Just buy yourself a bag of feed and walk out into their wide open realm and............. well................ You'll see............

Oh gosh, this is so much fun to watch!
The animals look happy and are very beautiful and in a great condition.

That white deer is gorgeous! <3

Oh and your moving T-Rex made me think it was a part of the animals in that park

Nice pictures again.
It looks like everyone had a lot of fun.
The last pictures felt like browsing through a "real life" CollectA catalogue.

The picture of the Peacock took me right down to Memory Lane.
When I was a kid, we had this little mantra we used to try and make a Peafowl show its tail.
We would chant: "Pauw, pauw, ik ben mooier dan jou!" (Peacock, Peacock, I'm prettier than you!)
The sound of the vowels "au" and "ou" mimicks that specific sound that Peafowls make.
It could take a couple of minutes of chanting, but most of the time it would result in a beautiful exposed tail.

Thank for your nice comment NightLioness!  I plan to take the family back there again this coming summer since they've been wanting an encore.

As for a T-Rex as a main attractive in a petting zoo....  Hmm?  I'm just not so sure.....

Me and the kids learned right away Peacocks are "showboats." Love them things!
