| This section, Other Modern Companies, seems the perfect place to your Fauna Figures thread, more important that you're seeling new figures, it is that you're presenting new figures to the community. Here, you can be sure your topic will not desapear. You can additionally, amke reference in your [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] when they're available for sale. About the original topic I am afraid it is lost once I also cannot find it. Well, what is really fantastic is that you keep your project with stupendous ideas and doing something really innovative in this hobby. |

Well, what is really fantastic is that you keep your project with stupendous ideas and doing something really innovative in this hobby. That's the one! I could not find it for looking! Not sure why... The first batch is being sent to me tomorrow. If the response (here and Facebook) is anything to go by, I will need a 2nd batch soon after (so Brandon will need more material!!). This is a good problem to have! _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | Glad to know you were searching [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I found it in the basket and rescued him yesterday. In this section, 3 months inactive topics are going to the basket. So you can lost it every three months we are always able to restore it. I was afraid we have lost forever anther topic, the kind of mysteries I don't like. I didn't collect freshwaters fishes before (only the Colorata ancient fishes and a few Kaiyodo because they were sold in batch) and now I dedicated a shelf to the world wide river and lake Don't worry Rogério, we will manage a way to save on shipping |

| Hurraaay !!!! Today the next four arrived [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A great idea : These new ones are marked "FFF" for FaunaFiguresFishes [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Amazing African Bonytongue ! What a beauty ! : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Beautyful Bowfin, - ancient and interesting [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The strange looking American paddlefish !!! It is a sister species to the sturgeon, and one of the most ancient fishes alive [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And last, - the lamprey ! An American Brook Lamprey ! Even if this species is not parasitic, and not very large, I must admit that it makes me shudder ! Brrrr, that mouth is so creepy Here we see where instructors get the model for the horror movies But fascinating, and a beautyfully sculptured model [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I am delighted with these fantastic models , excellently sculptured by Brandon ! The leaflets that come with them are crammed with interesting information, and already I know about 1000 times as much about ancient fishes as I did before he began on this wonderful project Thankyou, Sean, for this brilliant initiative |

| Technically...my initiative, Brandon's just the capable sculptor and painter! Although this time around, I had to do a bit of touch up myself--a few lampreys had some chips--and I gave all of the fish bit of an extra semi-gloss coat (to protect the paint and look more underwater-y)! That really is the extent of my painting skill... _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | I have given up on my own store thread, and may start one proper once these are done, but it has kind of worked so far! These are still a long way off from ready (and may not all be released at the same time), but the next wave have been sculpted! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]L->R White-headed hagfish, Aquitanian pike, Wels catfish, Sterlet and Burbot We are going for a European range this time! And, yeah, a little beyond the 'freshwater', but why not? Still FaunaFigures Fishes! Also, check out this hagfish mouth: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So weird. And we still have at least a few of each the other species still in stock at the store (except the bichir, but I'm getting more!) _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection!
