| Thankyou for a brilliant and illustrating picture !!! Yes, it may be a new model, but I doubt if many can see the difference |

| Torben, you know my oppinion about Schleich penguins, As I remember me as collector I am saying how many wrong things Schleich does with penguins and the story continues! Is it really an emperor??? Where is the pale yello breast? And emperors are more than 30% higher than king penguins! And, even smaller, kings have longer bills, can you check it for me???
I haven't see the CollectA and Bullyland penguins in your huge collection, are they there???
...and congratulations, are nice figures indeed! :) |

| Thanks for this comparising picture Torben! :) I already wondered what was the difference between those two figurines, as the mould is the same as last year... But the orange colour is typical for the king-penguin, where the bigger emperor has yellow markings... So that is a mistake of Schleich again... |

| Maybe the difference is, the other one is an Emperor and the other is an Empress. |

hmm, I always thougt that SCHLEICH was collaborating with the Zoological Garden in Berlin, as some of the older catalogues say... does anyone know what one can understand in this collaboration and if it still exists? same with the Replica Saurus-line, it was sayed to be done in close partnership with the Museum of Natural History in Berlin... so does SCHLEICH still ask for help at scientific institutes to design their figures?? nice picture, Torben! would be nice to see the complete emperor family of SCHLEICH |
