In another string the talk touched on Breyer. So I went and dug my beloved only Breyer-horse out. And found the thin catalogue from 2001. The funny thing was that it contains both dogs and cats, a goat, a donkey, cattle, - and wildlife !!!! I can remember that somebody mentioned the deer some time ago, - I think it was Willy ? As the catalogue is not very thick, I have scanned the whole thing and hope it is of use for somebody [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I like it very much! Thank You for sharing this with us Susanne I had no idea how many horses Breyer produced and how much additional stuff! Blankets, saddles, riders from almost all disciplines, wow Very cool Only I cannot find any figure representing Polo game, or maybe I just didn't noticed?

Thank you, Ana, I am really happy that it is of interest to you I can`t see any Polo-related things either. Maybe Polo is not so common in USA ? I don`t know...

There is a classic scale polo pony, but these days it's sadly underrepresented. The older molds seem to be less popular, collectors nowadays prefer the smooth new sulpts to the slightly rough finish of the old Hess sculpts.

I have the Breyer Polo Pony. :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I actually very much prefer the older Breyers to the new ones. The new ones are more correct and have more details, yes, but to me they lack the charm of the older, made in USA, Breyers. -Kristie

Oh Susanne! You shouldn't show me these animals! I don't mind with the horses but these forest animals are killing me! You forgot that I'm a poor crocodile! Probabily it was not Willy who talk about the deer but me, but I donn't know if Willy did it too! Thanks for the catalogue!

Kristie, that polo pony is really the most fantastic Breyer horse I have ever seen ! Fabulous ! But he flys Dear Crocobert, don`t let those figueres kill you ! I am convinced they do not taste good Fernando, you are so right, It would be a fanrtastic addition to anybody`s collection to have those Breyer-wild animals, - and the house-animals also ! I hope that if somebody sees them on Ebay he/she will let us know so we can see the prices and have nightmares of the less bad kind Anna - do you really have those deer ? Or is it the kind of " My deer----NOT "-thing because then it is not funny ( Don`t tell Anna, I am trying to provoke her to send a picture )

You all realize that these Breyer animals are very large in scale to the Schleichs and such, right? And they are hard plastic, not soft (PVC?). [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]:) -Kristie
