K&M weird Beluga whale...

Hi! Here is one of my finds from the local flea market: a K&M Beluga Whale made of hard plastic and featuring... a moveable jaw. I posted it with its mouth open. Does it belong to a line in particular?

There were several Eco Expedition sets, often boxed, of articulated figures. The beluga was from the Ocean Dive set. There were also Australian Walkabout (with and without Steve Irwin), North American, Rainforest, African, Dinosaur, Asian Mountain, Western Trail and likely other sets.

Most came with a person of some kind.

My kids had that set for a while. And I used to run a museum with a gift shop, so I got familiar with the lines!

Sean has a unusual knowledge about toy animal figures and it is great to have people like Mr. Bell on forum. Laughing

Congratulations for your find, they couldn't surely articulate the melonhead. Laughing

No...the articulation is not--great. The joints of the ones I've dealt with became loose pretty easily.

Nonethless, the people figures were kind of creative. It's unusual to see articulated but safari-appropriate figures (Schleich, Papo, Safari--they are all solid).
