| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hi! Here is an aricutaled hard plastic Squid I received in a trade (thank you Widukind!). It is only marked "Mesonychoteuthis hamiltonii" and "Made In China". Since I assume "Mesonychoteuthis hamiltonii" is too complicated to be a brand's name, I assume it is the species' name. But does anyone know what brand made it, please? |

| Gorgeous Colossal squid! The only brand I could think of that makes models similar to that is Chap Mei but it would a tiny stamp on it... Good luck with the branding, but it is a lovely model. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I also can't help. Tried to google a little but most resultas are about the Chap Mei giant squid that was sold under Animal Planet Sea Exploration. Though, that's not defintively the same and as far as I know Chap Mei don't use to be marked with species name. |

| Is it actually articulated? I do believe I've seen that figure in Nayab sets. | Apparently Nayab provides molds to Happy Kin Toys, though, for collecting convenience, we use to split them. Also, not all HKT figures are known being sold as Nayab and they are often differently painted. |
