| Oh! Yesterday I saw for the first time the Papo zebras, are very very bad in fact! My choice was a Schleich zebra because I think that the painting is very nice, but at home I stood with the sensation that the sculpting is very poor. Do zebras have esferic bodies? No bones, no muscles? The CollectA one is much more elegant than a zebra should be and I dont like the painting on the legs, face is nice! No other zebras? |

| There are many good zebra-models Roger, in all kinds of scales... Safari, Bullyland, Hausser-Elastolin, Lineol, or even some made in China models... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Yes Roger, when there is money enough, everything is nice indeed, and you can collect everything and all of the models indeed! But i do collect every brand, model and scale, haha, and i don't have very much money too... But ok, i started 42 years ago already... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

The CollectA one is much more elegant than a zebra should be and I dont like the painting on the legs, face is nice! No other zebras? Which Schleich zebra do you buy ? If you want to live with a zebra at 1/20 scale, not too chubby, not too odd, you may consider to buy the last Lineol one but you must buy it on the net then. In a bigger scale, the SAFARI WW is a good model too I think. |

My zebra is 14392, zebra female, I think that is a pregnant zebra! :) Have I made a wrong choice, Christophe?

[/quote] No Roger, the Schleich zebras, I mean the three last ones with calf are very very good models, a bit chubby, it's always like that with Schleich, but very good. Of course I've got them all. The CollectA one is very fine too but a bit bigger. But again, like my old uncle Willy, I still think the king of all is the Last Lineol from the 1940's to the 1960's. Not chubby, not static and welll... One day I hope you will have one in hand |

Has I said before, my Schleich zebra is pregnant, maybe its baby will grow and ressemble its ancestral Lineol! Or I'll start tu put some coins inside of a pink pig and someday has it in my hands! |

| Well zebras are usually chubby-looking 'cause all they do is grazing all day long! Compare Schleich zebra to real photos... _________________ Born to be Wild and Free!

| I know what you ment Martin, no problem! To my grandfather Christoph.... I do have this Lineol model already for a long time in my collection! And here are some more good models IMHO. OK, the Lineol first to proove the statement... Made in China, a big scale, but very good in my eyes, and that for just 5 euro's... Bandai, China to, but very nice i think, specially the foal... Hausser Elastolin so called sof plastic, still a great model! Hausser Elastolin composition, nice model too! Hausser Elastolin too, the striping is not always accurate, but the model on itsself is not bad at all... Although a little bit chubby on the rear end, haha, still nice models these Noahs Pals And this Blip Toys/Natures Wonders zebra is not bad either... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
