The Hirola 88757 from CollectA 2016

The hirola, also known as Hunter's hartebeest or Hunter's antelope, is 100-125 cm tall at the shoulders. The horns are 44 - 72 cm long.


It is a critically endangered species, with only 300- 500 in the wild and none in captivity. Further nothing seems to be done to save it.  
When googling, I even saw a picture of a blasted idiot proudly exhibiting that he had just killed TWO, - perhaps almost 1 % of the world's popolation !!!!!    

Let's hope that this wonderful model can help make the world focus on the danger of loosing this magnificent creature.

Wow this is an freaking awesome model!

The hirola is indeed an awesome antelope, but their conservation is doing fine, if I remeber correctly some time ago it was said that the population is increasing!

Thank you so much for the pictures they look awesome and much better than I was expecting, but could you may tell me what is it's shoulder height?

That's basically a perfect figure and I am almost sure that we won't see another hirola figure during next years. That is something very special! I am also surprised that CollectA was able of making it so small! Thanks for your great walk around, Susanne.

Very big congrats Susanne! Indeed it is a fabulous figure.
I believe this animal is legally protected, so I think the government of Kenya and / or Somalia should punish that idiot!!!
