| After some discussion and work on TAi on PEC figurines, I thought it might be helpful to put up a topic about them. This is what we know about these figurines: - TAi wrote:
- Not much is known about PEC, except that they use molds of known bulk sized figures from other brands, probably from OEM companies. Figures are marked with PEC, China and sometimes with numbers.
- Roger wrote:
- We still don't know anything about PEC, if you see a copyright on it, so it is a trademark. They're probably not copying but reusing known molds of oem companies like Wing Mao, those Authentics, etc.
Roger and Beatrice are actually working on this TAi page, but I thought it might be helpful to gather as much information and figurines as possible! Here are my PEC figurines: Make sure to share all your PEC figurines here! Original figurines as comparison are welcome as well I'll add them to TAi later today

"22" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]these have no numbers and the material is harder and more shiny than the other PECs: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Of course they also made crabs and turtles that are identic to the PV models, also moray eels, which has been mentioned in other threads already: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]not to forget the prehistoric mammals series that has PV copies that are a tiny bit smaller than the originals. |

| Does anyone know where to get these? Specifically, the mastacembelid eel? That is the only one that I need! _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | That's a huge contribution to this topic and to our perception of how diversified may be PEC range. Many thanks Beatrice! |

| Thanks for sharing, Beatrice! Your wild dog has such nice painting! The second one sure is difficult to determine; anatomically it looks more like a lynx, but the colours look more like that of a raccoon dog. Very interesting, I hope we can find more of these |
