Well, I guess we could find some real colour which would fit that, but it is not definitely "Apfelschimmel". And yep, that white foal is complete nonsense.

In my stores here there are magazines with Sarah's Mystery as a foal. Emptying of residues?

I find Yvette's photos of the magazine racks, with all the toys/figures and themes, fascinating. We don't have anything like that in the US! I would have enjoyed it as a child.

The closest I've seen is some craft magazines shrinkwrapped with projects, and those were imported from the UK not aimed at the US market.

Yes, it is common to find old figurines, my father when he goes to Germany often finds old ones and never those who come out. x)
