Hello all, I was wondering how you store your figures when they are not on display? I usually put mine on shelves to display but I won't have time to dust them etc while in my final year at school and I really need the shelf space for other things right now! This means some of my collection will have to be stored in boxes under my bed. To avoid paint scratches and such I was planning on individually wrapping them with kitchen paper but I wanted to check if anyone had a better idea or more experience with storage.

I keep mine in cardboard boxes. If the stand, I let them stand with bouble plastic "snaking" ( under one, over one under...etc ) between. If they do not stand, make sure that legs, antlers, tusks etc are supported . I my experience bouble plastic is best because it is a little flexible...kichen paper is not. Do NOT use foam rubber chips ! After a prolonged period they will adhere to the models and it is impossible to get it all off without damaging the paintwork !!!!

Thank you dear Susanne, I was thinking to be wary of using plastic/rubber chips due to the paintwork issue so thank you for clarifying it!
