2017 Dogs from all brands

Definitely would love to get Safari LTD's husky, but I also like Schleich's chocolate labs too. Can't wait to see what the other major brands introduce in 2017!

Emilia, thanks again for opening the dogs topic! Surely these new labs will be extra small as it is being usual with Schleich these last years. Labradors are officially considered the most popular dogs in the world so it is not a surprise to see Schleich re-releasing this breed. :)

Yes , I look forward to that beagle also. Strangely this breed is not seen very often among models, in spite of the popularity of Snoopy
And even a SLIM beagle, - that is a rare sight

I wonder what size the Schleich Labradors are ? Are they just replacing the small chocolate Labs with other ones ?

Like the beagle and Boston Terrier but why another Siberian Husky .They could have went with an Alaskan Malemute if they wanted another northern breed.

Perhaps because Malamutes are more rare, - they are enormously powerful dogs for ordinary people to handle
But I agree...we already have several Huskies, while only Bullyland has ever made a Malamute , as far as I know

Would agree Susanne,also think that companies are making Siberian Huskies as they are very popular now worldwide.

But I think it is quite natural that Safari is releasing a husky. All 3 dog breeds Safari is releasing are new to their Dog series. I think it makes more sense to ask why Schleich is releasing more labradors? ... or why Schleich already released 6 Huskies and never a Malamute? Yes, Taylor, Huskies are increasing popularity and Labradors are on top so both breeds are very expectable to be released as toys. Let's hope other companies give us some more unusual breeds, I have some hope with Papo.

Thanks for posting these amazing Safari pictures! I'm quite curious as to what Papo is making as well. I also think that Huskies are extremely overused, but to me they are like Dobermans and shepherds. I just can't seem to get enough of those breeds for whatever reason. I will undoubtedly pick this new one up if I ever saw in in a store.

Yes, lets hope for Papo as they gave us so many uncommon dog breeds so far!!!

Finally had time to add Papo and Bullyland to list. Papo Dachshund looks very good. Can't wait to get him.
