| Thanks for this topic! I was afraid Schleich will bring new Hanoverians. They're my favourite breed, so I didn't want them in new Schleich style...the mare's head is quite nice, but there's definitely something wrong with her body. Gelding's head reminds me of 2015 pinto stallion's head, and his body has canine proportions in my opinion. And another bay horse without black points :-\ The TWH gelding looks very similar to previous Hanoverian stallion. The Lipizzaner mare is awful. So probably nothing from 2017 for me, maybe I will buy the Hanoverians just to keep the family complete... _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta

| Thank you for sharing these new Schleich models. Overall, I'm actually more impressed than I have been in the past several years. I still really dislike the braids, particularly on the haflinger and Lipizzaner, but I also appreciate the fact that the Hanoverians have braids similar to real life hunters and jumpers. This kind of thing I'm okay with since it shows the company was willing to do their research. Of course, I still think their Icelandic horse and Andalusian look great!
The one thing that bothers me the most is that the Tennessee walkers look so generic. They're one of the most distinctive breeds in the world with very unusual postures and gaits, and here, they look like they could be anything from quarter horses to thoroughbreds. |

| I like the look of the new Hanoverian Male but I agree something is 'off' with the mare. I too thought the TWH gelding looked very similar to the old Hanoverian - I had to look twice! I must say though, I am not a huge fan of the new hair/fur texture they are using on the horses and some other animals |

| Updated it with the 3 Safari Winners Circles Horses! Contrarily to Schleich that all breeds were already released before, all 3 breeds presented by Safari are new to the company. |

| Safari has made a decent attempt this year. Despite the fact that the Bakshir Curly's legs are bit long, they did a remarkable job on the hair texture. Great job on the Fjord as well! I would have liked their Knabstrupper if she didn't look almost identical to the one released by Schleich. |

| Maybe this angle of the Bashkir shows better the proportions. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| That Bashkir Curly reminds me the style of the old horses from Safari from the 90ies Especially paintwork looks a bit similar to the old palomino mare [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

Very interesting. I was going to say he reminds me of a palomino sport horse. The long legs would work well for a hunter or jumper. |

| Hi, I've seen this photo on Instragram, wtih new JAH - Just About Horses magazine by Breyer with Champion Andalusian mare Fantasia Del C on Eberl's mold "Hermosa" on cover. Maybe a RR next year? Let's hope for it, it would be amazing! | Thanks for adding them. It's nice to see all the horses together.
Wow, the CollectA horses really all do look like Spanish breeds. It's great if you want one or two with this design (I'm thinking of getting the Marchador), but they're so similar, they're starting to compete with themselves. Maybe this is the CollectA style, but more variety is always nice. |
