NEW COLLECTA 2017: MINIS - Wildlife (A1105), Sea Life 1 (A1107), Sea Life 2 (A1108), Prehistoric Marine Creatures (A11054)

So CollectA have now expanded on their 'mini' range collections.  here is there marketing text for you to read:

We are most pleased that we have managed to grow our collection of "Minis". To complement our existing lines of mini prehistoric animals we now also added a collection of mini wild life. And since our sea life line has become more and more popular over the times we also created two lines of mini sea life. In the pre-historic world our collection consists of a number of marine creatures. So as a logical consequence we have come up with a collection of mini pre-historic marine creatures. All of the boxes contain  the most popular figurines of the relevant collections. The models are designed to be used within those in the popular and deluxe ranges. Some scaled down ones may be used in dioramas to represent immature models of the same species as those already produced by  CollectA.

if those minis are like on the pics, those might be the best available,...

It's nice to see the African Penguin being made in a smaller scale, it's such an lovely model but soo big. Just too bad that these will be sold in a set, because I really just want the Penguin.

I'm a bit unsure why they did made some extremly old models in the smaller scale, because I'm sure in the next years they will replace them.

Love this idea! Hope to see some mini horses next year

I like the prehistoric sea creatures,

The modern life ones are kind of uninspiring, if well made.

But the prehistoric one is fantastic, easily equal in quality to the Dinosaur tubes they already made! And finally, a couple of prehistoric fish!

amazing sea life prehistoric toob !!!! and look at the choice of species inside it !! A Leedsichthys !!! Archelon !!! and so much more ...this is a tiny bunch of precious jewels

In case anyone is wondering, the trilobite is supposed to be Olenoides serratus. For some reason, they didn't give its proper name, unlike the rest of them.

I wish CollectA will make a standart or Dluxe size Leedsichtys and Xiphactinus!

The mini toobs are all nice .. it would be an excellent idea if next year collectA makes a civet tube ..something lacking in representing this amazing group of tiny critters

Fantastic tubes! I love the prehistoric set, especially the Leedsicthys. I hope that means next year we'll get a larger version of both him and the Xyphactinus.
