Here you see some pictures of the latest set of EIKOH wildlife models 2016 There are some absolutely delightful models among them, and except for the poor bird that needs a bit of help - they are all wonderful A very nice bison . Many good details for such a little model : This female orangutan makes me smile whenever I look at her She just has the sweetest face ever, - can you help loving her ? I hope she gets some family next year Here come my favorite !!! Look at this sloth ! Isn't it adoreable ? She surely has a permanent place on a shelf, - here is a picture of some of her friends there The shoebill... I clearly understand the idea, - the pose is great, and the legs are great, and the feathers are great. This shoebill is telling us somethin BUT ! The nice legs can't carry him Shortly after I put him on the shelf, he fell backwards...he still had his feet on the grass, but the legs bent The I ballanced him with some Blu-tack ( as seen on the picture), but this morning the poor legs were bent sidewards So now I ballance him with blu-tack, and let him lean on other models, and hope that the legs do not break. Does anybody have an idea how to enforce his poor legs ? Here you see him with another EIKOH, a CollectA, and two Kaiodos ...there is certainly a good attempt to give him an interesting pose, and in spite of everything, Eikoh must be praised for that ! At first glance, the tapir doesn't look very interesting, - but look at him closer, it is really a fine , little model The wolf ! He is a totally neat , little model ! Look at his face ! So totally concentrated in singing a message to his pack He reminds me a little of the Safari Authentics-wolfie. He may be inspred of that one, but NOT a copy Another delightful model, - TAKE CARE ! This turtle BITES Last, but not least, the raccoon. He is so cuddly looking, - see those little paws ! Ready to wash his food ! All in all : This set makes me happy when I look at them , and that is the purpose of our hobby, I am sure _________________ SUSANNE

Thank you Susanne for these great walkarounds! Eikoh really becomes more and more interessing and they have so many great species. My favourites are the Sloth and the Shoebill, and I'm very sad to hear these problems. I've never hear of such problems, but I would try to put something unter his breast, maybe some kind of acryl glass, or even glu sticks from a hot glue pistol. I hope you can fix it. _________________ Bryan

Oh, so lovely set from Eikoh As we know, how small these models are, Eikoh desrevs big for making them with so natural looking. My favorite is this Bison It is one of the best Bison models I`ve seen. Even so small, it is more accurate then many major brand models :) Wait...!?!... or maybe, my favorite model is this so charming Sloth..?.. or maybe the Wolf..? ..or , this so lovely female orangutan..or..or... Ahh, they are all so nice I`m very sorry about the Shoebill.. It is a nice and interesting idea from Eikoh, to make this bird with dynamic position ..and with thin legs, but not very clever choice for position.. Dear friend, maybe you can try, to use this hot-cold water method, to make the legs more strait (the body to be more front) and then again to put Blu-tack on the base... But I`m not sure if this will help .. Thank you again for the beautiful and useful photos of these great models :) _________________ KOSTA

Thank you Susanne for the walkaround I'm not a very big fan of this set, maybe to much on the cute coast. Nevertheless I second Kosta for the bison, it is a good one, reminding me the two Britains Bison which are for me still the best ever. For the poor Shoebill I guess the best is to use a small stick like Colorata do I would love to see a pic of your Eikoh collection one day, you must have a little army now

| What a nice set! Thank you for the walk around, Susanne! I like the tapir very much and the turtle and the racoon and all others actually It's too bad that the shoebill cannot stand on his own, it looks like a fantastic model. The sloth has a lot of charm, and such a calm face, I like it very much! _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

Wow, when I saw the promotional picture I never expected this set to be so interesting! The sloth has a wonderful pose, like a Martian attached to a rocket finding its way back to Mars. By the way, the Mojö looks like driving a spacecraft. You're surely right about the orang lady, sweetest of ever. Tapir is very graceful and the shoebill is spectacularly drunken! :drunk: Thanks a lot for offering us these fantastic pictures and presenting this set in such a clear way.

Lovely set! Did you ever fix the poor shoebill? I would try to get a thin acrylic rod and set it under the tail and to the base or to the ground if it doesn't fit on the base. You could use a little ball of the blue tack to hold the rod in place if you don't want to glue it.
