| Hi Friends, today i received some new Noah´s Pals animals. With the new i have than 37 from 40 different animal pairs. The last 3 i´ve ordered today by T.G.F. Toys in USA. In Germany they will be sold out. I have the information that the production will end soon. Everyone who ist registered by the producer Caboodle should become a special-edition when he has registered all of the 40 animal pairs on their homepage. The special-edition is a pair of Dodos. I´ve never seen this before in real, but maybe i get this when i have the collection complete ? Here are my latest aquisitions (sorry, but not all looks really good: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The other 27 animal pairs i already had before can you find here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Congratulations on the set, and you will enjoy the dodos, they are an interesting addition to the set. I had the full set, in the past few months I have traded away all of them except for a few. The dodos are fairly nice models, but I am not a collector of prehistoric animals so they have been given away for a future trade. My thoughts are the models are ok, but the poses and size are not really well thought out. Several of the figures are not in proportion, for instance the nyala, the body is too stocky and the legs thin and short, but other models are great like the roan antelope and zebras. Overall if you are a collector I would recommend getting the set while they are available, but if you are looking for quality models they are not the best available. |

Absolutely Phil ! the models are not the best but a few years ago it was really difficult to find some antelopes among the modern brands and some of the small animals are not so bad IMHO. By the way, congratulation Torben and I can't wait to see your Dodo pair |

| Kiki, That was one of the reasons I started collecting the set, the different antelope in a bigger size. On the boxes the scale is 1:24, which is smaller then Schleich, but still a better scale then say Brittains or some of the Chinese made vintage animals. My first Noah's Pals were the zebra, nyala, and roan antelope. Eventually I just bought the whole set, and got the dodos as a gift, but when I compared them to the other brands most didn't work for my models. Some, such as the ostriches and many of the smaller animals like the honey bears are fine, but others like the zebra have the wrong proportions, even to use as a juvinile zebra, so when put on the diorama with the herd they didn't fit in. That is the reason for not keeping the set. At some point I may be sorry that I traded them away, but for my passion I can't use them. |

| Congrats on your new adds Torben! Go for the dodo's! Thanks to you Phil, i had my first NP's, and i will get in the rest in time...even the dodo's... There not all in the 1:24 scale, some of them fit quit good in the 1:20 scale too, as i can compare them here with the other stuff, and even in the 1:32 scale with some of them! What is wrong with the 1:32 scale Torben? I know you started to collect in the bigger scales, but people like Kiki and me started already looooong ago, when we were young and innocent( ), and there was nothing else(besides the old Lineol and Hausser Elastolin, from we didn't knew anything yet). Those lines are very nice too, specially Britains, Hausser Elastolin and Starlux... |

| Fantastic achievement Torben, i hope you get your dodo's too! I asked before what is wrong with the smaller scale to you, but it was Phil who couldn't use this scale for his diorama's, and not you... Anyway, nice series, even when they use different scales, and when some models are out of proportions. The bears are Asian black bears by the way Phil, and no honey-/sun-bears...

| Daniel, a few years ago it was easy to find Noah's Pals but now the brand is retired and it is difficult to find them. So you need to be patient if you want that kind of stuff. |

| But what is meant by "patient"? I have to wait until all the collectors sell to others? I think most here depends on the model, and you do not understand me. I know, I do not shop! but I just want to have any data on the sale of these antelopes, and if you have this data, please skonatktuj with me, unless you do not want to help me ...
Daniel. |

| Daniel... Members here often, indeed always, helped each others but none can make miracles such as finding rare animals on demand. If someone have some models to sale or trade, I guess he will tell you... Some, like me, have them but it doesn't mean I can find another everyday. If someone have an adress, I'm sure he will post it. Collecting is a matter of patience if you are searching unusual models. It's not exactly like buying a 2012 SCHLEICH... |
