AAA Birds on Pole made for Bullyland

Last week I could bought thanks to Jarda some birds by AAA made for Bullyland at Ebay Germany.
Today they are coming in.

The black Toucan - I havn´t seen it since now. I also havn´t found it at TAI or at Susannes homepage.
























Under the pole or base you can find the "three AAA" and "Made in China".


7071 Spraitbach: Bully/Bullyland is located in Spraitbach. Number 7071 is the old postal code for Spraitbach with 4 numbers.   But since 30 June 1993 all towns in Germany got 5 numbers in postal code. Today Spraitbach has the postal number 73565. So the figures were made in 1993 or earlier. Perhaps somebody can help here with an catalog ?

I've red once that some of early AAA figures were sculpted based on ceramic figures. These birds have a style that matches perfectly with that observation. They have a more decorative touch than they look toys. They're very nice actually and it is great also to see some variations.

I would like, have these birds in my collection.

Roger, that´s very interesting. Since now, I often have seen,that porcelain birds are modeled generally often on branches by various manufacturers. AAA probably took over the idea from the "ceramics section".

These are incredible finds, Yvette! I never knew any of these existed until now. Again, I am astounded by the details of these birds, they are so beautiful! The one that catches my eye the most though is that wonderful King Fisher with the minnow in his beak. I've never seen a King fisher in figure form before, and I'll have to say this one is absolutely gorgeous!
