| Thank you for the pictures Susanne, it looks much better than on the catalogue pictures but there's something that doesn't make it look like a sloth. Hoverever, I'm very exhited to see what Papo and Schleich will make it better. And yes, for me it looks like a Hoffman's too. |

| When you click on the image of the Sloth in Safari,s catalogue site, the information about it says it is indeed a Hoffmann,s two-toed sloth You are both so right:! But I like the image in the catalogue site much better. On the picture shown here, you may actually see the seems where the animal is fused or glued together. And I also find the painting less good, and it looks very "plastic" to me Sorry |

Please bear in mind that when I show these close-ups, the model is not only larger, but in direct, sharp light, - and probably so close to your eyes as you will very rarely see it in real. As a model on a shelf you won't see any mould-lines, and the painting looks great If you look back two years, the paintwork of Safari's models was getting real awful !!! Or rather, there was almost no paint at all, and eyes were just a black blop. They have improved immensely the last two years, and already people complain that the prices have gone up a bit. These are mass produced toys, - I am sure we could get near-perfect models, if we wanted to pay 20 times as much for them Now it is me, who is sorry. No offence meant |

| That is very o.k Susanne And I am sure you are right It,s only me beeing to perfectionistic I belive And I do agree Safaris paintwork has improved a lot, but sometimes they do the stranges things with their colorations of their figurines. If you look at their new cattle, the Gurnsey cow has this white ring around her eyes and muzzle. And the Ayrshire cow also have some strange coloration on her muzzle. It makes them look less authentic I think. Oh my God, here I go again, Sorry |

| I find that we are really lucky. Not long ago we were all crazy to get a sloth, we needed to find the rare Hausser, the not easy to get from Play Visions and a few more not very interesting. Now, we have the two species of two-toed sloths made by major brands, Mojö and Safari respectively, Papo is releasing a sloth and we are waiting for Schleich sloth still. I enjoy the solution Safari found in terms of pose and it looks enough weird to look like a convincent sloth. I am happy and I like what I see. |

| Wow, great model and big congrats! I was curious how big this one was since their sizes online seem a little bigger than usual but I think that this will fit in my shelves perfectly, thanks for the photos! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Congrats Susanne ! He was on my wishlist but I saw some pictures on Facebook and I found the quality of paint was bad in real ... so it wasn't in my priorities. However Safari made a great improvement this year ! I got the giganosaurus, which one is just wow, I also got the holwer monkey and the beautiful blue-footed booby, all from MPV :) I want them all this year ! |

| I think it's a very nice sloth. And what's best, with it we can complete the two-toed sloths family! Thanks for the walk-around, Susanne! |
