| Found this sassy lady at a flea market; they also had several AAA turtles and a couple smaller/cheaper AAA frogs (and a Larami terrapin). She's cuter than the photo came out. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Yes, fortunately the bananatang was still there. The turtles also, though I didn't have enough money for everything so they remain at the market. Photobucket is much more cooperative tonight, so here are the frogs and the Larami terrapin [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Interesting! What is exactly marked in your Larami turtle? It may have a year, number and species name on it. |

| It doesn't have a year, Roger, just a species name- 'Red Eared'; most likely what we call a red eared slider here in the US. Is it a red cheeked in Canada, Bowhead Whale? |

Thanks, I was asking because on TAI it is presented as released in 1993 and marked with number 6. I know that there are some inconsistencies with the numbers marked in these figures so I thought all of them were marked. I also wanted to check that yours was marked in the same way. Actually, this kind of apparent inconsistencies, had been very helpful to group some unknown Play Visions and K&M bulk figures. ... and, when there is a consistent group of figures with some numbers missing, we kknow we have some more to hunt what is exciting! Well, Larami turtles are very well presented on TAI so I assume everything is correct. I find it fantastic that Larami, not long ago almost unknown, is entering the collections of some of the members of this forum in a regular basis. |

Well, here, we just call it "tortue peinte" (painted terrapin). I just couldn't remember the exact English name... |
