that site sells a lot of bootlegs (or possible rebrands). Could explain confusion on who made these animals? For example, if you scroll down they show some insects that are bootlegs of Takara Tomy and Rement figures!

I am not sure if all are bootlegs. And i am not sure about the laws in Asia. But on Taobao you also can find some interesting stuff.

I am almost 100% sure that these are not bootlegs but original designs instead. :)

Actually this figure belongs to the "Naturally Adorkable" series released by Natural History (a popular Chinese magazine ) as its peripheral products. Series I includes Bengal slow loris, red panda, Asian black bear and Pallas's cat. Series II includes long-eared hedgehog, Himalayan marmot, Tibetan fox and Chinese pangolin (the sloth is supposed to be a special figure).

I found a seller that sells all of them in the set. I bought 5 this morning for less than $100 USD total (monsterhousehk sells them for 30+ per figure!)

I think that due the importance of this series it should be listed on TAI. As there's no brand known, I will eventually list it as "Naturally Adorkable" series as described above. I hope we will be able of finding pictures of all figures. bounce

I think that "adorkable" is a typo, the author copypasted this reply from a zoo forum where he replied the same to me once I show the photo of the Tibetan fox (bought in the same link than bmathison provides, more than two months ago (the deliver time is veeery long!). It should be Naturally adorable, I think. However this typo has already spread from the zoo forum to STS forum and also the Animal Toy Forum Razz

I listed it under "Natural History" (see my sign).

I thought 'Adorkable' was a type too (for 'adorable'), but adorkable is a word, it means absurd-looking to the point of being cute, which accurately describes these animals LOL

As promised, I added this series at Toy Animal Wiki. I used Blaine's pictures once it was easier for me. It is missing only the red panda, sloth and Asian black bear. If anyone owns then, please provide pictures to TAW if possible. The entry can be found here. Very Happy
