I was in a closing store today and found some bagged Play Visions sharks [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They had a generic tag on the bag, like all the other (unbranded) bagged animals they had. The only other branded animals they had were some huge 'Learning Resources' animals. 12 per bag but only 9 unique species (stamped on bellies). They are angel, hammerhead x2, tiger, whale x2, goblin x2, great white, thresher x2, and zebra bullhead sharks. They are about the same size as Safari toob animals.

Yes, great catch It is very interesting that you found them now. In 1993 it seems there were quite a few around [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , but since then I have not heard about that set

Some Play Visions survived all these years being sold in these bags. My sharks were obtained in a similar set. We can see also lots of other PV figures being sold as unbranded, namely sea stars. I love these little sharks and please notice carefully other sets in that shop, maybe you can find some Club Earth or K&M among them. By the way, they're 8 species instead.
